Pilates Fest Spring 2015 exposes participants to a variety of fitness classes through 30 minute sessions taught by seven local fitness instructors. Pilates Fest gives participants an opportunity to try new fitness classes in a fun, high-energy, no-pressure environment by allowing them to observe, jump right in, and ask plenty of questions. Pilates Fest will also feature a protein-packed pancake bar by About Time, a massage therapist, as well as other boutique-style vendors so participants can experience health and fitness brands and services in the area.
Pilates Fest Spring 2015 is free and open to the public, but donations will accepted at the door to benefit the Women’s Shelter and Center of Greater Pittsburgh. Acceptable donations are cash, credit card, gift cards, and used cell phones or smart phones.

Pilates Fest Class Schedule
12:30 p.m. | Pilates | Pilates strengthen and tone all of the body's core muscles through targeted exercises. Pilates challenge the student to focus on specific muscle groups, and, with practice, students will soon build tremendous core strength.
1:00 p.m. | Piyo | Piyo combines the practices of Pilates and yoga to help build strength, lose weight, increase flexibility, but with a higher-energy, higher-sweat class.
1:30 p.m. | Walk Live | Walk Live is a series of multi-muscle move set to beats per minute in popular music to engage more muscles which leads to higher calorie burn and more muscle tone.
2:00 p.m. | Bokwa® | Bokwa® is an energizing and addictive Cardio workout where participants draw letters and numbers with their feet while moving to popular music.
2:30 p.m. | Out of the Box Crosstraining | Out of the Box Crosstraining incorporates elements from high-intensity interval training, weightlifting, plyometrics, powerlifting, and gymnastics with a Crossfit Level 1 Coach.
3:00 p.m. | Barre | Barre combines Pilates, yoga, and ballet moves to sculpt and lengthen muscles.
3:30 p.m. | Yoga | Yoga strengthens, stretches, and sculpts muscles while practicing Vinyassa flow movements.
